[Product]"Yuhong"® BBC-251 waterproofing coating specially for bridge decks is a new kind of environmental waterproofing coating, which is based on petroleum and asphalt, adopts multi-kind of excellent polymers as composite modifier, and prepared with a scientific formula. It has excellent heat resistance, adhesive property and shearing resistance, appetency to petroleum and asphalt products, which could meet special waterproof requirements for asphalt and concrete bridge surfaces and has permanent and dependable waterproof properties. It is a special coating for waterproof construction for surfaces of all kinds of bridges and trestles.
[Grades and Specifications]The products are classified into type I and type II according to properties, whose technical indexes meet standard Q/SY YHF004-2004 Waterproofing coating of Polymer Asphalt Bridge Surfaces.
Main Physical And Mechanical Properties
[Features]• Aqueous environmental products, not including toxic or harmful substances. Cold construction under liquid state, unable to contaminate environment.
• Good heat resistance, resistant to above 150º C high temperature.
• High flexibility, good extension property, could meet structure distortion requirements when stands moving loads.
• High adhesive strength, good shearing resistance, could transfer transportation horizontal loads effectively.
• Film forming on-site, fast drying, high working efficiency.
[application range]It is suitably for all kinds of bridges and roads.
[attentions for construction]• Fitful construction temperature is 5º C~35º C. When temperature is lower than 5
º C, or raining(including a 6-hour rain forecast), no construction.
• If the waterproof layer is not dry completely, people and vehicles are forbidden to move on the constructed surfaces to prevent acute things lacerating waterproof layers.
[construction process]• Substrate treatment — Take concrete layer of bridge as substrate(thickness is 7cm). Substrates shall be flat, solid, stable, and be dried sufficiently, no acute corners, impurities, oil stains. Strengths meet design requirements.
• Large area waterproof coating— It is feasible whether by roll, spray or scratch coating. Thickness shall be uniform. Coating shall be carried out in separate layers and times. For 1mm thick coating film, coat in 3~4times; Latter coating shall be carried out after the former coating film formed and in different directions. Reference consumption amount of coating are: Use 2.0 kg/m² For 1mm thick coated film. Thickness of coated film meets design requirements.
• Waterproof layer protection— Construction of asphalt and concrete shall be carried out when waterproof coating film is dried completely.
