SAM Series Self-adhesive Waterproof System
[Types and Specification]
Or [Type& Scope]1. Self-adhesive waterproof system: It is fully adhered bonding system adopting self-adhesive rubberized asphalt membrane.
2. It is used for roof of structural stabilization and waterproofing areas fully adhered bonding required by technical data sheet. The applicable materials includeds SAM-920 self-adhesive rubberized asphalt membrane, SAM-930 Self-Adhesive Modified-Bitumen Waterproofing Membrane With Polyester Reinforcement and SAM-950 Double-sided Self-adhesive Polymer Modified Bitumen Waterproof Membrane.
3. Strips bonding waterproof system: Adopting self-adhesive rubberized membrane whose bottom side is strips adhered bonding, membrane and substrate are spliced as strips bonding system. Applicable materials includes SAM-960 Strip Self-adhesive Polymer Modified Bitumen Waterproof Membrane.
It is used for roofing project which is deformation, split and vapor foundation, as well as foundation of underground layer, underlayer of concrete substrate and other waterproofing areas where can be easily adopted strips bonding, point bonding and non-adhered waterproofing area.
2. Pre-spread reversal-bonding waterproof system: Applying membrane before concrete pouring and sidewalls pouring. Applicable materials include SAM-940 Pre-spread Reversal-bonding Polymer Modified Bitumen Waterproof Membrane, SAM-950 Double-sided Self-adhesive Polymer Modified Bitumen Waterproof Membrane.
3. Cold-applied two faces self-adhesive membrane waterproof system: The applicable materials include SAM 950 and SAM-930 Double-sided self-adhesive membrane.
[Preface]Self-adhesive waterproof System is composed of waterproof membrane with aggressive rubberized asphalt adhesive, related materials, accessories and related construction design technique. Perfect waterproof system is an important guarantee for waterproof project quality and its longstanding performance. Yuhong adhered wateproof system is created on basis of scientific theories research and practical project, which is scientific, advanced, applicable, reliable and economical.
[Structure description]Basic foundation of waterproof system includes substate, bottom coat, detail additional layer, main waterproofing layer, sealing and protection insulation layer. Other composition of system should be set reasonable according to science of architecture.
1. Substrate--it should be solid, levelled, clean, non-abrasive. It should be made as an arc with radius 50mm in the corner.
2. Detail joints additional waterproof layer----additional self-adhesive membrane should be applied at general details(e. G inside and outside corners, cullis, gutter) as waterproofing layer. Additonal membrane or coat should be applied at complicated details(e. G. Three facets angle, water dripping area, underground pipes, etc) and the details should be dealed with sealant before or after applying membrane to inform multi-defense structure.
Main waterproof layer(functional layer)--- it has multi-ply and single ply structure. Each layer not only can be adopted self adhered bonding membrane in multi-ply struture but also can be compounded with other kinds of modified asphalt membrane or coating. The thickness of each waterproofing layer should be subject to related data sheet or design requirement.
3. Sealing---membrane vertical facet terminals and self-adhesive membrane edges of overlaps and joints should be dealed with related membrane sealant.
4. Protection and insulation--- waterproof layer should be set protection layer according to realted criterion. Protection layer can not be installed when adopting membrane with mineral granual (or slate) and aluminium top side.
